The Best Year (So Far)

Miss A turned 1 year old on Sunday. We are amazed that a year has gone by. It feels like it's only been about 3 months.

I wish I could find the words to more eloquently express what an incredible year it has been. It has been so much better than we even possibly could have dreamed of. There have been so few tough days that I probably wouldn't even need 10 fingers to count them. Mostly it has just been pure joy. We are so thankful for her, every day.

We had a lot of fun celebrating her birthday. She was actually pretty neat when it came to the smash cake. I had visions of frosting and cake flying everywhere, but she didn't spread the mess far. She was much more interested in the frosting than the cake itself and kept squeezing it through her fingers while she was trying to get it into her mouth. Since she didn't seem to be going crazy with eating it, we didn't think much of it, but then the poor thing wound up having (what I am assuming was) a bellyache. She woke up at about midnight and was up for 2 hours, whining (which is unusual for her) and wiggling around because she couldn't find a comfy position laying on me.

Here she is before the bellyache set in:

Happy 1st birthday, Miss A!

Awww Happy Birthday!
That's so awesome about nearly pure joy with her (I can count a little higher the number of days that have been excruciatingly hard, lol). Time goes by so fast though, and in my opinion, the older they get the more they get!

Such a fun photo-- happy birthday Miss A! It just keeps getting better (or at least for me it did) and I'm calling 1.75-2.25 my favorite age. Still cute and learning to talk, not so much lip or "No" yet. Look what you have to look forward to!

I can't believe she is 1 either!!! Happy Birthday! She is way too cute! Also glad to hear that there are few tough days - I worry about that with me being a bit older starting out!

To answer your question, yes, we are still with C.CRM. We figured with their lab quality, it made sense to stay.

Thanks too about the cytomel tip. I'll keep that in mind for my mom. I think her naturopath is really helping to keep her from feeling too bad right now, but she certainly has some tough days.

Hey, I read your comment about your upcoming travel plans. I wish I knew when we'd be out there! As of right now, we only know it could/should be the end of this month or next. They told me I would be hearing from them in a week or so, and it's been more like a month :(
