Kiddo's Gender Revealed

We reached 30 weeks yesterday, and we stuck with our plan of finding out the gender.

Doing so has made all of this so much more real, and I am still processing all of it, so for now, I will just leave you with the picture:

Also, I've tried to comment on a bunch of Blo.gsp.ot blogs lately, but when I click on the comment link, I get a completely blank page. I thought it was something Google was doing as part of its SOPA protest since it started happening around that time, but it's still occurring as of today.

I've seen a couple other bloggers mention a similar issue, so apparently it's not technology being cranky with just me. There are one or two blogs I've been able to comment on, but for the vast majority of them, I've had no such luck. So please don't think I'm ignoring you - I'm reading, it's just that's all I can do at this point. Hopefully Google will fix it soon...

Girl?? Am I seeing that right?

I have spent many an hour cruising Etsy for hats, bows, and dresses for my daughter. Much to the detriment of my wallet. I suggest staying away form that for as long as possible.....

Oh my gosh, I am so excited right now! First of all, congratulations on making it to 30 weeks. Outcomes are so great on babies born from 30 weeks on. Now then...a girl! That is so awesome. I am partial to little girls myself since I have a four year old girl bouncing around the house right now (past her bedtime too). You are going to have so much fun dressing a little girl. You are going to have so much fun raising and loving a little girl. I am just so happy for you, Rebecca, and please share some of the adorable things you buy here in the future. Are you thinking about names?

Yay for 30 weeks and yay for a girl (I'm a bit partial having 2 myself). They are wonderful little people full of wonder and curiosity. So glad that it seems from reading that you are slowly feeling a bit more able to think towards the end of this journey with hope.

Another momma of a daughter here saying congrats! I love having a girl. And as an added bonus, should she make an early appearance (NOT going to happen, right? She's behaving well so far), she's got an advantage already being female. Preemie girls do better than preemie boys on average. So heave a huge sigh of relief at passing this milestone, and start shopping for some cute outfits!

Congratulations on 30 WEEKS!!! I am so happy for you all! Congratulations on your forthcoming daughter. I know it didn't matter to you as long as they were healthy, but now that you know, you can start preparing for a little girl. That will be fun! Enjoy!!
